So Attack! Attack! has now changed since they let go of their former screamer Austin Carlile who's lyrics were religious. I have never listened to Attack! Attack!'s new stuff because I don't believe it will be anything like before, they are like a whole new band now and it sucks because I really liked them. The album Someday Came Suddenly to me seems like a story. The songs on the album trail together like they are meant to be in that order for a reason. The songs together bring out a story about realizing Christ and accepting Him. I believe the reason the band got rid of Austin is because they didn't believe in his lyrics and that's sadening. I also have never seen this album in christian stores so maybe the band didn't want it to be so obvious because they didn't want to lose fans, but honestly they have lost a fan, i still love this album but i will never listen to anything else they have to offer. I'm pretty sure anyone who first listens to this album will not realize what it's about until they really listen to the words. It's so easy to like their sound because they have that new sound that is popular with thecno screamo so it can attract people who love post-hardcore music. I fell in love with Attack! Attack! after the first song I heard just because of the sound, but when I listened to the words i loved it even more. The first song i heard by them was Stick Stickly, I bought an AP CD that was called Summer of Rock 2009 and it had a bunch of songs and that was one of them. Something cool about their song Stick Stickly is they talk directly about Jesus but some people wont even recognize it because some people don't care enough about lyric. I know when i first heard the song i just liked the sound and the scream so I know that's why most people would like them. It's sad to know that people who are a fan of this album and don't know the meaning will still like them now and never come to know what it meant because they have changed. I think a christian band should be proud to be a christian band because whats the point in sing about the Lord if you're to scared to admit it. Attack! Attack! has never been classified at a christian band but i will still share with you that they are because weather they like it or not this album was about Christ and you should all know that.
