The Devil Wears Prada: Zombie EP

a lot of people are hatting on this album but i don't think it is as bad as everyone says. from what people said i didn't expect to like this album but i do. People are saying that you cant hear any lyrics which is kind of true but since when does every screamo band actually make that possible anyway? The music still has all the talent in it that TDWP has to offer. i don't think this album is bad at all, Ive heard really bad screaming I'm not gonna name any band names but i think i have heard the worst screamer ever and TDWP has a good screamer. The album does lack clear vocal but the song Anatomy does have a rather long section of singing and it ends with a cool thecno-ness. i think that it is ok that there is not a lot of clear vocal because August Burns Red is awesome and they have almost no clear vocal. the song Revive is probably my favorite so far because it has a choir part and ends really fadish and has awesome thecno parts and i just really love the sound of it fading at the end and its just so good i cant get over it, the piano is like love and oh my gosh! When i listen to this album it doesn't sound like a whole new band (like some people were making me think i would hear from it) because they still have all the talent of mixing up sounds that they always have and i have pretty much nothing bad to say about this album. I think the only way TDWP could be bad is if they got a new screamer and guitarist because i think they are the strongest ones of the band that can really carry out the sound TDWP should always have. so i have been listening to the song Outnumbered and this is what i get out of it: i think it means we are living in a society that's metaphorically a wasteland because we are living lies with the hate and drama of our media. The zombies represent the people living in our society and media of lies and like zombies, are converting people to be like them. The words " all the money in the world won't satisfy the enemy" means people are being so materialized and believing money and material things is all you want and live for. the song also talks of "beating the odds" like protect yourself so you don't become like one of those people so you can be real and true and live by God's word. But of course this is just my interpretation I'm not sure what was intended by TDWP.
