Symphony In Peril is another band that I got their CD from Facedown's grab bag deal. They have a nice hardcore feel to them, I don't quite love the screamer but he is average. They have just a regular sound to them, not too original. Also when I listen to them I can find parts that could use some better editing, they have real potential but could use a better producer. I tend to feel like the instruments overpower the vocals. Their music is good enough for me to listen to for like an hour but it just very simple to my taste, I go for crazier bands. Some songs stand out a little more than others, one of them reminds me of an Oh, Sleeper song. They have one of those songs king of like Bring Me The Horizon's Suicide Season where the scream is like in the background like an echo called Inherent Scars, it might be my favorite one. It feels like I'm listening to a whole different band song after song. I'll listen to one song and it will be average and kind of give the feel of a band that needs work, but then some songs start out strong then loose their feel. I want to say I love them but then the song trails off into plain-ness and I'm not feeling it anymore...it's sad. Another thing I noticed after googleing them is that they are in need of a new band picture...they should hire me. I would recommend them to people who enjoy traditional screamo.
